Vancouver singer-songwriter Luke Wallace is, like a modern Pete Seeger, a folk singer inspiring everyone towards a better world.
From the moment he hits the stage, he has the audience singing about positive change for the climate and communities.
We desperately need that and we need him on stages all across our country right now!
He doesn’t back down but he doesn’t alienate people either.
He’s a perfect voice for right now.
3.30pm-5.00pm Welcome-all singing workshop with Luke including vocal warm-ups and learning a selection of Luke’s songs without the need for sight-reading or advance learning.
7.30pm Concert with performance from the choirs and Luke, with participation from workshop attendees in the audience
Each of the choirs will perform some of their own songs and a selection of Luke’s songs, with a headline performance from Luke.
We are fortunate to have someone as talented as Luke to come to our neck of the woods all the way from Western Canada.
His music is currently being sung by 80+ choirs across the world and this workshop and evening concert promises to be a real celebration of live music, Luke and two very different local choirs to entertain..
